Volunteers are the heartbeat of all we do at Mahurangi Vineyard, we couldn’t do what we do without them. We believe God has gifted each person with unique talents to share with others. We would love to help you find a place to be actively involved in sharing these gifts in the life of our church.

Joining a team is one of the best ways to get connected at Mahurangi Vineyard, and we are confident we can find an area of service that is a perfect match for your skills and talents.

People, Children, Task and Technical are our four ‘Serve’ areas.

People

At Mahurangi Vineyard our heart is for people to encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. In pursuit of that goal, we want every person who comes through our doors to feel welcomed and connected to God and our church family. From our welcoming team through to our hospitality team, we take pride in being friendly and valuing all who visit or attend Mahurangi Vineyard.

If you’re a people-person, we would love for you to join the team and help us create a fantastic experience for our guests.

Children

Children are precious to us - not just for their future potential as big people but because God loves to bless and work through ‘little people’.

It is a privilege to impart spiritual guidance and nurture our Mahurangi Vineyard kids. From crèche to our teenagers we have many teams that are essential in equipping our young people to stand strong in God’s love. 

Hospitality

Every service or event that happens in our church is an opportunity for people to encounter God and connect with others. This is made possible by a fantastic group of servants that prepare the way for what God is going to do. If you’re hospitable and friendly then we’ve got the perfect spot for you on our morning tea team.

Sound

Our sound team ensures all services or events that involve sound or multimedia run smoothly. As a team we are not interested in making things flashy, but in creating an environment in which people can connect to God through worship and be impacted by the teaching of the Word. When we do our job well, no one should realise we’re there! If you love developing new skills, have a good ear for sound or aptitude for computers, then the sound team could be the right fit for you.
